MPP seeks to organize Haïti’s marginalized rural population into a national social movement in order to fight to build a society where human basic needs such as food, housing, education, work, medicine and leisure are satisfied, all while respecting the people’s identity and freedom. To date, the MPP has trained 500 facilitators who work with organizations and institutions dedicated to rural development to help them structure their work. The MPP also has 4500 member organizations representing 61,000 members.
