The upcoming United Nations Conference of Climate Change (COP 11), to be held in Montreal late this November, is an opportunity for all Montrealers to have an impact on the global agenda to tackle global warming. So in the lead up, we are opening the floor to our community to share perspectives on the event, the issues and what can be done.
In order to explore the links between food and Climate Change, we’ll be attempting to answer two questions: How is climate change affecting our food? and How is our food affecting climate change? Through these complimentary questions, we will develop a better understanding of climate change’s impact on this important aspect of our daily life.
The discussion will start at 6:00 in Alternatives Salon (3720, avenue du Parc). From 5:30 refreshments and food will be served to help the Netcorps interns in their fundraiser! So come early and enjoy a snack with us before sitting down for a lively and engaging discussion!
