CRISES Magazine lunched by the AlterInter Federation in Belem

It is in front of a huge crowd of more than 500 people at the World Social Forum in Belem that AlterInter lunched on January 30th its new quarterly called CRISES.

Crises is a quarterly magazine published by Alternatives International Federation to inform about and analyze the Rainbow of Crisis and popular alternatives to the global military crisis and the creation of new solidarities. The magazine explores the military and political realities created worldwide by the Bush administration in the post-Bush era.

While reporting on and analyzing Crisis gives special attention to the development of the realities in the Middle east, Central and South Asia, which are considered as the main hotspots of the rainbow of crisis, but will also identify and analyze other global hubs of conflict, such as Colombia, the Sahel and Pacific South Asia.

In addition to analyzing the political and military realities of the post-Bush era, Crisis publishes actions originated in popular movements of resistance analyzing the scope of those actions, the alternatives raised by them and their social and symbolic importance.

Finally, Crisis creates a space for dialogue on the artistic and cultural aspects of popular resistance movements to allow a convergence of a global the language and symbolism of resistance.
