20th & 21st October, 2011
Mount Stephen Club, Montreal QC

An important conference will mark the 10th anniversary of the Responsibility to Protect, organized by the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS), our institutional partner. The two-day event will take place on 20 and 21 October in Montreal, at the prestigious Mount Stephen Club. The event will provide a public forum where senior politicians, journalists, social media experts and NGO leaders can exchange ideas and pose questions about the importance of the media (both news and social) in alerting the public and political leaders to situations of grave human rights abuses.
