Journal des Alternatives

National Program

Alternatives produces conferences, a newspaper, websites and a wide variety of educational activities to educate and take action.

The Alternatives newspaper has a monthly circulation of 50,000 copies offering alternative information on international, national and cultural affairs.

In Quebec and Canada, Alternatives intervenes in local and international issues. Through public awareness and information, it seeks to influence Canadian and Québecois government policy so that these reflect our concerns for respect, equity and justice with countries in the South on cultural, economic and political levels. Locally, it is particularly active in environmental and participatory democracy issues, immigration and our government’s social policies.

This section features Alternatives’ projects in Québec and Canada.
